Albino Penis Envy (APE) is widely regarded as the strongest Psilocybe cubensis strain available. The rumor goes that Terence McKenna and/or Steven Pollock developed the original Penis Envy from Amazonian stock; the albino mutation that followed pushed both visual and shamanic intensity even further. Its phallic shape combined with the ghost-white pigmentation make it one of the most distinctive mushrooms ever cultivated.
APE belongs to the Psilocybe cubensis species but produces noticeably higher psilocybin and psilocin concentrations than standard cubensis cultivars. Every gram delivers a markedly stronger experience, which means dosage discipline matters even more than with regular Penis Envy.
